I found this article on Thursday morning, March 19, 2009. This article is about Obama signing a bill for the arts. He signed a Recovery and Reinvestment Act with reinstated support for the arts. This bill is about making improvements to art places like the Smithsonian or other art museums to make repairs. The senate and the house are trying to treat the people who work as an artist or for art the same way as people who would loose there mortgage or health insurance. The Smithsonian's spending was cut from 150 million to 25 million. That is a big cut and from the 125 million, that can be used to make many improvements.
